It clicked....

As I sat reflecting on all the conversations I’ve had with my teenage daughter about self-love and self-worth, something struck me—how could she truly understand what I was teaching if I wasn’t living it myself?

In that moment, it clicked.

I realized I couldn’t just speak those words—I had to embody them. I had to stop being a contradiction and start being an example. Loving myself, recognizing my own worth…letting go of past habits. That would be the most powerful lesson I could give her.

She doesn’t need to search for validation in the world—I need to show her it already lives within her.

I made a quiet promise to myself: stop looking back at who I was, and start moving forward—choosing self-love, one day at a time.
